Turning My TV Script Into A Comic Strip

In 2022, I wrote a script that was intended to be a pilot for a TV Show. Due to money constraints I put it to one side and didn’t think much about it. That was until earlier this month. While browsing I came across an AI tool known as Midjourney. Quite frankly, I’ve never been big on AI, but as someone who’s lived long enough, I know where the future is heading and whether or not I jump on board, AI is here to stay. I looked further into Midjourney and found that it was a rather sophisticated tool. Firstly, compared to other AI tools, Midjourney has the ability to generate consistent characters, making it perfect for telling a story in the form of a comic. It’s also pretty intuitive but I would be lying if I said it doesn’t take time to get good results.

So here are the first few pages that I’ve made over the past few weeks. I’ve generated 100s of images to get the results I want but as you can see, there are a few mistakes and discrepancies. Hopefully, in time I’ll get better at this.

Title: Michael Adgebola’s Fight To Save Peckham

Logline: A group of teenagers battle a mysterious pervasive force that threatens to destroy everything they know and love about their neighbourhood.
